A single workspace for every page-level change
Most page-level fixes on a PDF are really a sequence of fixes: rotate this page, move that one to the top, delete the duplicate, insert those three pages from another file at the end. Doing each of those as a separate tool round-trip wastes time and re-compresses the PDF at every stop. Organize PDF bundles all of those operations into one workspace so a single upload-edit-download cycle handles the entire reshuffle.
The canvas shows every page as a draggable thumbnail. Reorder by dragging. Rotate any page with the inline rotate controls. Mark pages for deletion with a single click. And when you need to bring in pages from a second PDF — a separator, a cover sheet, a contract addendum — upload the second file and its pages join the same thumbnail grid, ready to drag into position. Everything composes; every change is visible before you commit.
Because everything happens in one pass, Organize PDF is also the quality-preserving choice. A PDF that goes through three separate tools picks up slight re-encoding each time. A PDF that goes through Organize once is rebuilt exactly once, with your changes applied directly to the page structure. Text stays real text, images keep their embedded resolution, and bookmarks are carried through to pages that survived the reshuffle.
How to reorganize a PDF
- Map out the target order
Jot down the intended final order on paper or in a note. 'Cover first, then intro, then the new appendix from the second file' is a plan you can execute in ten seconds once the workspace opens.
- Upload the primary PDF
Drag the main document into the workspace. Every page becomes a thumbnail you can drag, rotate, or mark for deletion.
- Add a second file if needed
If some pages need to come from another PDF, upload it too. Its thumbnails join the grid — you can drag them anywhere in the final order.
- Reorder, rotate, and delete in one pass
Drag thumbnails into the order you want. Use the rotate button on any page that's sideways. Click the delete badge on pages you want gone. All three operations can happen in the same session.
- Preview the final sequence
Scroll from top to bottom and confirm the order matches your plan. Rotated pages should display upright; deleted pages should be grayed out or hidden.
- Run the job and verify
Start the rebuild and download the reorganized PDF. Open it in a reader, check the first and last pages, and spot-check a couple of middle pages to confirm everything landed where you intended.
Common use cases
- Prepare client deliverables
Combine cover, summary, core report, and appendix from separate drafts into one professionally ordered deliverable.
- Fix a scan that came out in the wrong order
Reorder pages that ended up jumbled because the document was fed into the scanner backwards or shuffled on the feed tray.
- Insert a signed page into a contract
Drag the signature page from a second PDF into the correct spot in the master contract, without re-typing or re-exporting.
- Build a portfolio from project files
Pull specific pages from several case-study PDFs, arrange them in a narrative order, and export the sequence as one portfolio document.
Privacy & security
Organize jobs run on isolated workers. The tool manipulates page structure only — contents of individual pages are streamed through without being read, indexed, or retained. Both uploaded PDFs and the final reorganized output are deleted from our servers shortly after your download completes. We keep an anonymous job identifier afterward, nothing tied to your file contents. If the materials are sensitive, finish the job, download, and clear any temporary local copies before stepping away.
Frequently asked questions
Can I reorder, rotate, and delete all in one session?
Yes. That's the core value of this tool. Every page-level operation composes inside a single workspace, so one upload and one download covers what used to require three round-trips through separate tools.
Can I insert pages from another PDF?
Yes. Upload a second PDF alongside the first. Its pages show up in the same thumbnail grid, and you can drag them anywhere in the target order before running the rebuild.
What happens to bookmarks when I reorganize?
Bookmarks that point to pages you kept are preserved and re-bound to their new positions. Bookmarks whose target pages you deleted are cleaned up so the output has no dangling references.
Does reorganizing lose any quality?
No. Page structure is rewritten once with your changes, and page contents pass through untouched. Text is still selectable, images keep their resolution, and fonts are preserved.
What's the difference between Organize PDF and Merge PDF?
Merge combines multiple PDFs in whole-file order (file A, then file B, then file C). Organize lets you mix pages from different files and reorder them at the page level, plus rotate and delete in the same pass.
Is the reorganized file deleted from your server?
Yes. Both uploads and the final output are removed shortly after download. Only anonymous job metadata is retained.
