Why we built OkFarsi
Most people do not need a giant desktop PDF suite every day. They need one focused job done correctly: merge attachments, compress a report, delete a blank scan, convert a Word file to PDF, or make a scanned document searchable. Many available tools either add watermarks, push users into signups, or hide the useful parts behind a subscription. OkFarsi was built for the practical middle ground: fast, clear, browser-based PDF utilities that solve real document problems.
We design each tool around a specific workflow. The interface should tell you what the tool does, what settings matter, and what the output will be used for. That sounds basic, but it is exactly where many low-quality tool sites fail. A useful PDF platform should not be a maze of download buttons and vague promises.
What the platform offers
OkFarsi currently includes tools for merging PDFs, splitting files, compressing documents, removing or extracting pages, organizing page order, repairing damaged files, OCR, converting Office files and images to PDF, exporting PDFs to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG, and PDF/A, adding page numbers, adding watermarks, rotating, cropping, comparing, locking, and unlocking permitted files.
Every tool page includes practical guidance because the context matters. Compressing a casual handout is different from compressing a signed contract. Converting a text PDF is different from converting a low-quality scan. We try to explain those differences plainly so users can make better decisions before clicking the button.
Privacy in plain terms
Files are uploaded over HTTPS and processed only for the operation the user requests. We do not use document contents for advertising profiles, resale, behavioral analytics, or AI model training. Uploaded files and generated outputs are deleted automatically within 2 hours after processing. That short retention window gives users time to recover from a download issue without allowing documents to sit on the server indefinitely.

How the service stays free
PDF processing infrastructure costs money, especially for large files and OCR jobs. To keep the core tools free, the site may display advertising. Ads should never be disguised as download buttons or tool controls. Over time, we may add optional premium features for heavier users, teams, larger limits, or API access, but the public tools are meant to remain genuinely useful.
