About OkFarsi PDF Tools

Our mission

We started OkFarsi PDF Tools with a simple goal: make everyday document work effortless. Anyone who has tried to merge a handful of PDFs on a phone, compress a large report before emailing it, or convert a scanned contract into an editable Word file knows how frustrating the available options can be. Most tools either slap a watermark on every output, lock essential features behind a paid plan, or require you to install a heavy desktop application just to make one small change.

Our mission is to offer a comprehensive set of PDF utilities that are genuinely free, easy to use, and respectful of your privacy. Every tool on the site is designed to do one job well — merge, split, compress, convert, secure, sign, or edit — without forcing you through sign-up walls or feature paywalls. We want someone visiting the site for the first time on a hotel-lobby computer to be able to solve their PDF problem in under a minute and move on with their day.

What we build

OkFarsi currently offers more than thirty tools organized into five practical categories: Organize & Optimize (merge, split, compress, remove pages, OCR, repair), Convert To PDF (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images, HTML), Convert From PDF (to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG, PDF/A), Edit & Security (rotate, watermark, page numbers, crop, compare, password protection, unlock), and AI & Workflow automation features.

Every tool runs the same way. You upload one or more files, choose the options you need, and download the result. All the heavy lifting happens on our servers, so the experience is identical whether you are using a powerful workstation, a budget laptop, or a phone browser. Output files are standards-compliant PDFs that open in every reader — Adobe Acrobat, Foxit, macOS Preview, Google Drive, and every mobile PDF app.

Privacy and security by default

We believe privacy should not be a premium feature. Uploaded files are transferred over HTTPS, processed inside isolated job workers, and removed from our servers automatically a short time after your download completes. Oversized uploads are rejected before they hit the processing queue, and every upload is scanned for malware as part of our standard pipeline. We don’t read, index, or retain document contents; we don’t share files with advertisers or analytics platforms; and we never use your documents to train machine-learning models.

Operational logs — things like anonymous job identifiers, timestamps, and error diagnostics — are kept only as long as needed to keep the service reliable and to investigate abuse. You can read the full detail in our Privacy Policy.

How we keep the service free

Running infrastructure capable of compressing a 500 MB report or OCRing a 300-page scan in seconds is not free. To keep the core tools accessible to everyone without charging per-file fees or requiring a subscription, we display advertising on the site — including contextual ads served through Google AdSense. These ads are always clearly marked and never interfere with the tool workspace while you are processing a file.

In the future we expect to add optional premium features aimed at teams and heavier users — things like saved workflows, larger file limits, and an API. The free tools you see today will stay free. Advertising revenue and optional premium features are designed to sustain the service together, so the free tier does not have to become thinner over time.

Who we serve

OkFarsi PDF Tools is used by students preparing theses and coursework, freelancers sending polished deliverables to clients, small businesses handling invoices and contracts, administrative staff processing HR and compliance paperwork, and everyday people digitizing receipts, forms, and family documents. We are deliberately language-agnostic and format-agnostic — if your source file is a PDF or an office document in any common format, our tools work on it.

The team and the road ahead

We are a small independent team of engineers and designers. We build the platform, we host it ourselves, and we read every piece of user feedback. Our roadmap is shaped directly by what visitors tell us is missing — recent examples include the Compare PDF tool, OCR language expansions, and better handling of very large files.
